Each Year during the Summer Reading Program, we have a showing of the local City vehicles - From the Fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances, to the less seen, street sweeper, sewer truck, and earth movers. They all come out to show off their machines!
The 'Read to Rover' program
Children have a chance to read aloud to certified therapy dogs during this program, and practice reading aloud

Each year our Youth Services Librarian runs the Library Lockin; an event for 6th grade on up. Games, singing, movie watching & computer use abound as the night goes on.
Every year, our Youth Service Librarian holds the Summer Reading Program, oriented towards all youths from babies on up to highschoolers.
