How old do I have to be to get a library card?
You must be 6 years old to get a library card, and if you are under 18 years old,
you must have a parent or legal guardian sign for you.
What do I need to get a library card?
You need a photo ID and proof of your current address. You can use a driver’s
license or state ID with your current address.
Can I renew an item?
Yes, all items can be renewed up to 3 times unless another patron has requested that item.
How much are overdue fines?
Movies are $.50 each, per day.
All other materials are 10¢ each, per day.
For how long may I check items out?
Movies may be checked out for 1 week; all other items may be checked for 3 weeks.
How many items may I check out?
There is not a limit on most materials. The limit for movies is 5 children’s and 5 adults at one time.
Do you have a copy machine? What are the rates?
We can make both black/white and color copies. The charges are as follows:
8 ½ x 11 - 10¢ for black/white, 25¢ for color
8 ½ x 14 - 15¢ for black and white, 35¢ for color
11 x 17- 20¢ for black and white, 50¢ for color
Do you have a fax machine?
We do not offer fax services to the public.
Do you have public internet access?
Yes, we have 16 computers in our technology lab. You must be 8 years old and have a library card to log on to the computers. We also have high speed wireless internet access. There is no charge for the wireless or to use the internet in the technology lab.
One day guest passes are available for visitors touse the internet.
Do you accept used or new book donations?
Yes, we welcome and appreciate donations of gently used or new books, CD’s or DVDs. All donations are accepted with the understanding that if we do not add them to our collection, they will be used by our Friends of the Library group at their semi-annual book sale.
