During the pandemic, Afternoon Book Club currently meets the last Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM on Zoom. Copies of each months' book are available for checkout via curbside pick up. View our 2021 Book Club Selection List for the book club titles for the year.
A variety of volunteer jobs are available for you at the library. Some jobs may be mending books, helping prepare children's craft materials for StoryTimes, or assisting with a special program or event. We welcome volunteers, so if you have a skill to share or time to help a few hours a week, contact us. Click here to view our Volunteer Application.
Due to Covid-19, we are currently only open for curbside pick up of items and one-hour appointments in our computer lab and Heritage Room.
The Friends of the Hatch Public Library meet on the second Wednesday of each month, at 2:30 PM. The Friends group organizes and runs a book sale twice a year as their main fundraisers. Proceeds from the book sales directly support the Library in a number of ways including the purchase of microfilm for our local history room, funding for both youth and adult programming throughout the year, and contributions to library staff education and incentives. The Friends group also serves as an advocate in support of the Library to our local elected officials and funding bodies.
