Splash into summer with Hatch Public Library! This year's summer reading program, "Oceans of Possibilities," will explore one of Earth's greatest resources: our oceans! Each week will have a different ocean-themed focus including ocean creatures, science, and all things water. Fun will include art projects, games, experiments, and of course, reading! With a focus on literacy, students will interact with books and stories each day and participate in a reading challenge to win prizes. Catch the reading wave this summer!
Hatch Public Library's summer reading program is for students entering grades K-6.
Program runs Monday-Friday, June 13-July 1 and July 11-29. Attend one or both sessions! Choose from two times: 12:30-2:30 PM or 2:30-4:00 PM. Program will take place at Hatch Public Library. Transportation will be provided from the school if your child is attending summer school.
Students will have the chance to check out books from the library. To take books home, students will need an up-to-date Winding Rivers Library card. Students ages 6 and up may sign up for their own library card. Students younger than 6 may use a parent or legal guardian's library card. Please call the library at 608-847-4454 or stop by prior to attending this summer if you would like your child to use your library card or to sign up for a card.
