Welcome

"Imagine Your Story" this summer at the library! We will read fairy tales, mythology, fantasy, and folktales from around the world. We will also create our own stories, find out how things work with kid-friendly "breakerspace" activities, and explore the library. Designed for ages 5-12. Flexible activities; drop-ins welcome!

M-F, June 15-July 2 and July 13-31, 2020. Two sessions: 12:30-2:00 OR 2:30-4:00.

The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books before your child starts kindergarten. Sound hard? It’s easier than you think.

If you read just one book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years and 1,095 books in three years! And we have fun incentives to keep you and your child motivated.

Check out what's happening at the library! We offer a variety of ongoing programs and special events for babies, toddlers, school-age kids, tweens and teens, and whole families.

All programs are drop-in, so no registration is required. We LOVE to see new (and familiar) faces!

Please note that the library will be closed starting at 5:00 p.m. on March 18, and will remain closed at least for the next few weeks. Keep in touch with us on Facebook and Instagram for online storytimes and other fun!

Please see below for a complete message from the library director, Bridget Christenson:
